Friday the 13th

Today is Friday, and I have done absoluley nothing. Go me.
There's a dance tonight, but I don't know if I wanna go and pay mony to listen to shitty music and watch other people dance. Ooo don't forget the free food. w00t. Yeah, on second thought, definately not going to that.
Jill works until 11:00 tonight, which is around the same time that Morgan gets home from babysitting. So that leaves me doing... more nothing. Hot stuff.
Yesterday we went on our band trip into S'toon. We watched a band play, but Jill and I both managed to fall asleep halfway through. Then we went to Fudruckers, then to Ruckers. It wasn't bad. We got back at around 4:00 then went to Family Pizza for coffee. Variety Night was also yesterday, and for the most part it was just dancing, but the Grade 9's did a really awesome skit.
While driving with Audrey a few days ago, I noticed that someone had put up new Volksport signs around town. Hopefully that will give us somthing to do this weekend. We probably won't get around to it though.
::Went for coffee with Jill on her break, then sat and had coffee by meself until nine before deciding it was boring as hell and walking home. Now Jills going to call me when she gets off and we're going to go to Morgan's and hopefully find something interesting to do.
I can't believe I forgot it was Friday the thirteenth. I've been psyched for today all week, then I forget. Yet another reason why I rock. ::

General radness...

Today was pretty awesome, I got to sleep in until 1:30, then stayed in bed and read a little. GOt up, had a shower and then did some drumming for a while.

But tonight was more fun then I'd thought it was going to be. We went out for coffee (surprise), then men and Morgy went beck to her place and got together a bag full of tools and shit. Then Dannis, Bex, Morgy, D-Mac and I walked from Family Pizza to Micky-D's. None of the guys would tell us what the hell they were doing, so we just left them there and went to Chewy's. Everyone but me drank there, and Andrew showed up, which is rad because Andrews always fun to hang with. We went walking, and were going to 'borrow' a few signs from around town, but they'd drank too long and I had to go home. They were nice and walked me there, we made this huge line with our arms all linked and walked down the highway. All the people in the cars were staring, it was funny. Everyone had to use the bathroom, so my house was the designated pit stop. They all came in, which was fine, then left. I was a lil sour that I couldn't go, but it's all good.

Now, I'm eating Chinese food and listening to AFI's cover of The Hanging Garden.

It really doesn't feel like Saturday for some reason. I'm dreading school on Monday, it's usually around this time of year that my brain shuts down on me. It's like 'FUCK YOU, I'm not doing this shit anymore!' and so I'm screwed. Well, now I'm just rambling because I'm gonna be bored afther this... Maybe I'll watch a movie...

Band Geekdom and Chicken Buckets

Today was officially my last day as a band geek.
Well, not actually. I still have the big trip on Thursday, then I'm done. It's about time I got out of it, I've hated it for over two years.

Went out for coffee tonight, it wasn't anything terribly exciting. Beaked Brandon about his girlie skateboard and talked about earings with Brett. It was messed though, the huge KFC bucket of chicken thing was on the ground, so Morgie and I went to go look at it. There was this giant dent in it, and it looked loke It'd been hit by a car. You know your night is exciting when...

^_^ I got a VHS copy of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' the other day. It cost two dollars and is practically brand new. I'm stoked, gonna watch it this weekend.

Josh is coming down this weekend, not that this affects me much, because chances are I won't even get to see him. I'm either going to watch movies with Jill and have this sleepover-ish thing, or do stuff with Morgan and Bex. But Morgan works until 11:00 on Friday, and Josh is going to be there, so I don't know how well that's going to work out.

It's getting to the point where I think that anyone can be corrupted by money. Even if something means the entire world to you, and you've put years of work and dedication into it - chances are that if someone offers you enough money to change it, you will. I know it's not like that for everyone, but it just pisses me off that people somehow think it's okay for them to put a price on their dreams. It kind of seems to sneak up on you too, whn is it too much? You wake up one day, and realise - shit. this isn't what I wanted... - It just seems like people are willing to do anything for a buck, it's kind of pissing me off.

Well, it seems that I'm going along with the newest fad: blogging.

This is just kind of a trial post, to see how it looks. I promised Jen that I'd get one, then comment on her's today. So thats what I'm doing.

At the moment there really isn't anything terribly interesting to say, except that I'm going out for coffee in about a half an hour. But that's nothing special, it's pretty much an every day occurance.

As for things that are new and exciting... Danni tried to help me streak my hair fushcia, but all we accomplished was getting her arms and my face covered in dye. "Will dye dark hair..." My ass. *cough* Umm... and Razed in Black. Theyre rad. Download them.
